We were able to find all of our materials at our local dollar store, so this project only cost us a few dollars. Look for green glass items to go with the holiday as we did. Chances are, your dollar store will have a nice selection.
1. Begin by washing the glass dishware and drying it well.
2. Turn the goblet over so it is face down. Apply a generous amount of glue to the base of the goblet, now standing upright.
3. Place the clear saucer on top of it. Press firmly until the saucer has adhered.
4. Tie a length of ribbon around the stem of the goblet. This can be as long or short as you wish, left plain or tied in a bow.
Now all you need are some gold chocolate coins or green mints to display on your St. Patrick’s Day candy dish. This piece makes a nice centerpiece or can even be used as a serving piece at your St. Patrick’s Day parties.
Head to your local dollar store and gather the supplies you need to make your own St. Patrick’s Day candy dish. It is a fun and frugal way to hold your sweet treats!
