DIY St. Patrick's Day Headband

Supplies needed:

Black elastic headband
Silk flower
Hot glue, glue gun

We were able to find all of these materials at our local dollar store. During the St. Patrick’s Day season they have several varieties of green flowers to choose from, so find something with some Irish flare that is sure to make this a festive piece!

Directions:

1. Remove the bloom from the plastic stem. You will want the bloom to be as light as possible so snip away any plastic stem that remains underneath.
2. Apply a generous dab of hot glue to the underside of the flower.
3. Press the flower to the headband. Hold it in place for 1-2 minutes until the glue dries and the flower is secured well.

Would you believe you are done already? Now all you need to do is make sure the piece is dry and you are ready to roll. Slip this piece on as you would any other headband for a fun pop of St. Patrick’s Day color.

So what do you think of this DIY St. Patricks Day Headband?
