This is my favorite compound butter recipe – it’s perfect over steaks and bread rolls and only takes 5 ingredients (or less, if you omit the salt)! This homemade Garlic and Herb Butter tastes just like the the ones at the fancy restaurants, only more affordable...
Serves: varies
  • ½ cup butter, softened
  • 1 large garlic clove, minced
  • ⅔ cup chopped fresh basil
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh parsley
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  1. In a medium bowl, combine butter, garlic, basil, parsley and salt. Roll into a log and wrap with plastic wrap until ready to serve.
