How To Grill Frozen Pizza

It’s summer, and the last thing you want to do is turn on the oven, so I decided to share with you how to grill frozen pizza!

How To Grill Frozen Pizza

I don’t know about you, but we have a somewhat small house (nice and cozy…sometimes, too cozy), and our oven acts as a furnace. We grill pretty much every day due to this reason, but one can only eat so many hot dogs and hamburgers. And our budget doesn’t allow us to order pizza a lot, so enter making pizza on the grill! The frozen, store-bought kind, that is.

Gas Grills:

Preheat to 400 degrees F.

Charcoal grills:

Place 25-30 briquettes around the outside of the grill (not middle)

For both types of grills, you’ll want to preheat for at least 10 minutes. If you don’t have a thermometer on the outside of you’re grill, you can stick an oven thermometer probe on the inside of the grill leaving the bulb indicator on the outside and close lid to verify that the grill temperature is at a minimum of 400 degrees F.

Once the grill is preheated, unwrap the pizza and place in the center of the grill.  Grill for 11-15 minutes or until cheese is melted to your liking. For thin pizzas, grill for a max of 8 minutes. Be sure to turn your pizza 90 degrees at about the halfway mark, so about 6-7 minutes for regular pizza, and 4 minutes for thin.
