On the low carb, high fat diet, and wanting something insanely sweet to curb your chocolate cravings? I’ve got just the thing. A smoothie that will fill you up, give you energy, and tastes just like dessert. I made this with full-fat cream cheese and heavy whipping cream, to imitate the actual “cheesecakeness” of it. And, you can use almond milk to give it a little extra sweetness, but you can use unsweetened soy milk if you wish.
It takes about 5 minutes to make and will keep you full until your next meal! Hope you enjoy 🙂
Low Carb Strawberry Cheesecake Smoothie
- 6 ice cubes
- 3 large strawberries
- 1 ounce cream cheese (full-fat!)
- ¼ cup heavy cream
- ¼ cup almond milk or unsweetened soy milk
- ½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon coconut oil
- Throw all the ingredients into a blender and blend until desired consistency, adding more milk if needed.
